1971 | Sold Sportyak for a guy in Stockholm at the boat fair in Gothenburg, this was before it became a success. |
1972 | The Sportyak has begun to interest the boat owners at the boat fair in Gothenburg, clients were standing in line. |
1973 | At the age of 18 I started my career at Albin Motor in Gothenburg (the Sportyak haunts me until 1980). |
1974 | Until 1982 all the information regarding albin boats, spare parts, engines rigs, propeller systems, exhaust systems, rudder seals and valves was handled by the computer of that time -the brain. |
1982 | Me and a few others takes over Albin Marin's stores in Gothenburg. fors marin is founded. |
1986 | Albin Motors business in Sweden is taken over by fors marin, together with a workshop in Stockholm. |
1989 | I am now the sole owner of fors marin. I turn my focus to solely sell spare parts and components for albin, Volvo and Yanmar engines. |
1995 | Albin Motor in Kristinehamn lacks interest to continue manufacture spare parts. To avoid a complete shutdown of deliveries I decide to purchase Albin Motor spare parts. |
1996 | The deal was completed January the 6th. The move of the warehouse content was completed during the spring that same year. cylinderhead for 0-11 / 21 / 22 / 41 / 411 and AD2 / 21 were the first items that ran out. These were manufactured and delivered the same spring. |
1997 | We start to manufacture engine blocks at the company "Arvika handcasting" for 0-11/21 engines. Up until 2007 we have produced 80 units. |
1998 | We adjust the models for engine blocks (Arvika
handcasting
) for 0-22. Up until 2007 we have produced 30 units. |
1999 | We replace our computer systems in anticipation for the year 2000. |
2000 | All models for casting at foreign manufacturers are being moved to Sweden to be placed with the Swedish foundries Arvika handcasting and Holsbyverken. |
2001 | New tools for manufacturing of big ends and crank shaft bearings are being installed for engine types 0-11/21/22 and AD2/21. |
2002 | We are rebuilding the shop with an integrated barcode system for the store and warehouse. |
2004 | We start manufacturing our own equipment to be able to produce casts parts and gaskets for Volvo Penta MB10. |
2005 | We start manufacturing pistons for AD2/21. |
2006 | My love Maud Maria starts working with me. We have fun and are very creative together. |
2007 | Experimenting with carburetors ( My love is rebuilding the shop).

Starting to plan our new web shop, the design work has started. Introducing co-production - exhibition at Risör Norway, wooden boat festival. |

First time we construct our very own exhibiton booth. Participating in Wooden Boat Festival, Skärhamn, Tjörn Design of new Float balls to the Solex carburetor finished. |
